Voices Echoed amplifies the narratives that need to be heard. From forgotten female authors who did not get the credit they deserved to contemporary indigenous artists, we connect these voices with new audiences around the world.
Through art, research and storytelling, we use the power of translation to honor diverse perspectives and promote cross-cultural exchange. We are dedicated to challenging systemic barriers, addressing issues of representation and social justice, and building bridges of understanding between cultures and communities through mutual respect and collaboration.
Examples of our work include the translation of books by indigenous poets from Mexico, and the Indigenous Film Festival in Utrecht. We lead and engage in initiatives that carve out a space for reflection, allowing us to echo voices that are frequently sidelined, allowing them to resonate and inspire change.
